At first, it seems very exciting, because as Roger Hernandez puts it in Showcase Latinos in Smithsonian, there is so much about the history of Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Cubans integral to America’s history that is unknown to the mainstream and not included in our body of common knowledge.
