The latest Carnival of Feminists is up at Philobiblon:
Welcome to the Carnival of Feminists, which begins with an apology, for the hiatus since the last, which was due to my disappearing under a deluge of work, from which I’m slowly extracting myself.
So there’s more than a month of nominations here, and I decided the best thing to do was to collect them, to allow a new host a managable run.

I’m really, really disappointed that Philobiblon would link Miss Andrea’s disappointingly divisive, transphobic rantings and pass it off as “feminism.”

Thanks for the heads up Veronica. That is a disappointment. Transgendered folks get it from all sides, feminists, lgb activisdts, right wingers, religious nuts, etc.

The rant is just part one of a series from her, and full of some of the most viciously inaccurate stereotypes and lies about trans people that I’ve seen in a long time. It’s nothing more than pure hate speech. I am so very very disappointed that it would be linked in the carnival of Feminists.
